Before the hot weather hits and I pull out short-shorts, I always take the time to give my legs a little extra TLC . Here are my go-to steps to getting my skin painlessly smooth at home before the big summer reveal!
4 Simple Steps to Smooth Summer Legs
The first step to getting smooth legs is to give them a good scrub. Exfoliating your body also helps your moisturizer penetrate better and your self-tanner apply more evenly, since the process removes dead cells that make skin’s surface rough.
Brown Sugar Scrub Recipe
- 1/2 cup of Brown Sugar
- 3 Tablespoons of coconut oil
Next I need to get my legs fuzz-free! We all know how uncomfortable this step can be, but with the unique ‘Bye-Bye Ouch formulation found in Nair’s new Cire Divine Moroccan Argan Oil wax its time to wave goodbye to pain! Nair’s Pro-Senstive Complex adheres perfectly to the hair and less to the skin, reducing the uncomfortable sensation associated with waxing. Best part? It lasts for almost four weeks and can be used on hair as short as 2mm so you are never left fuzzy! For more information visit NairCare.ca
Known for its moisturizing and nourishing qualities, Nair Cire Divine Moroccan Argan Oil Wax’s is suitable for all skin types and is enriched with Moroccan Argan Oil and orange blossom fragrance.
Your legs won’t look their best unless they’re properly hydrated, which is where more coconut oil comes comes in. The oil is best applied right after stepping out of the shower. The coconut oil sinks into skin and dries quickly. I love adding peppermint essential oil to the coconut oil for both the fresh scent and the cooling and calming effect on my skin.
