During the summer, I have a major change-up when it comes to beauty products. Generally, I wear a lot less makeup and a lot more hair products (aka I live for dry shampoo) So, I thought I would share with you some products I have used on #repeat lately that you can get shipped to your door in 2 days thanks to Amazon Prime!
Summer Beauty Staples
Dry Shampoo – I live in this stuff. Throughout the years I have tried a dozen different kinds and was recently sent ORIBE Hair Care Gold Lust Dry Shampoo and found out it’s a winner. The price tag is steep – but one bottle has last me over 2 months so far, so I figured what I am saving in real shampoo I am making up with the dry. With this brand, there is no build up of residue, so I end up using it for days at a time. Serious game changer.
Texturizing Spray – Another pricey fave, ORIBE Hair Care Dry Texturizing Spray gives my limp and fine hair that effortless beachy-boho look. I use it after I blowdry my hair to give it tons of body and more movement. It also works amazing on my curled ends breaking it up and giving it that messy but refined look. It’s a hair care staple for this girl.
Nude Nail Polish – I hate my feet, so I try not to draw attention to them with a classic nude polish that matches with everything. Plus, it isn’t as noticeable when its been more than a few weeks in between pedicures and my nails are growing. This summer I have opted for more of a pinky nude. Specifically OPI Nail Lacquer, Bubble Bath.
Sunscreen – An obvious essential, I don’t go poolside without it. For my body, I opt for Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunscreen Broad Spectrum with at least SPF 45. It has HELIOPLEX Broad Spectrum UVA/UVB protection and Dry-Touch technology for an ultra-light, shine-free finish.
Curling Iron – An essential to save my pony tail kinked hair, I usually whip some curI ls into it (alongside that dry shampoo we talked about) so I can where my hair down. My hair kinks super easy (within minutes of wearing my hair up) so if I want to wear my hair down again, I have to hide them. I have only hear amazing things about the T3 Twirl Convertible Curling Iron (it also has amazing reviews on Amazon) so it is next up on my wishlist. Until then, my Babyliss does the trick!
Bronzer – It’s super hard for me to tan, especially since I prefer the shade. So, bronzer is my BFF in the summer. I have bunch of differnt brands but usually stick to my Nars Laguna. But if you are looking to not break the bank, this Rimmel London Natural Bronzer Waterproof Bronzing Powder is a great option this season.
Tinted Lip Balm – I go back to basics in the summer time so unless I am getting dressed up for an event, lip balm is the way I go. I have always liked Rosebud Lip Balm in Minted Rose and love its subtle pop of colour.
