Even after we had Finn, our social calendar did not slow down. With both of us off this past summer, we were out and about visiting and hanging out with family events almost every day of the week. This made it super difficult to set up a routine with Finn. Our only routine was following his cues when it came to feeding and naps and for the most part, it worked! (Now that he is 6 months we have more of an outline of a routine, more on that later…) But, what really stepped up our game when Finn was 6 months and younger was the Solly Baby Wrap. It allowed us to stay where we were during nap time because, within a few minutes of swaying while wearing him, Finn was fast asleep. Plus, for those days leading up to the summer when I was home solo, this wrap let me have my hands back for those afternoons he did not want to be put down.
First off, I do want to warn you that for this trick to work, I would recommend wearing your baby as soon as possible. The more they are used to it, the more comfortable they are and willing stay in them. I had a few friends try to wear their baby when they were a few months, but I say from birth to give it a go!
There are some great tutorials here on how to wear your baby with the Solly Baby Wrap but also check out below how I use it! Besides it being so useful, there are also a ton of styles to choose from to coordinate with your wardrobe. I loved this neutral grey stripe for us since the hubby wouldn’t mind using it also.
Do you wear your little one? If so, what wrap/carrier do you love? Let me know in the comments below!
