My holiday vacation cannot come soon enough!  I have had so many fun and exciting opportunities come my way this past year, it has been a whirlwind of events, travel, experiences and of course blogging and as I look back now, it’s a complete blur of fun and exhausting memories.  I honestly wouldn’t be where I am today without some amazing, kick-a** support from my husband, family and friends, crazy long work hours and ample of resources* at my disposal (*Coffee) But besides the ample amount of coffee I have drunk this year, the next biggest asset has been my ThinkPad Intel laptop.

When you are a blogger, you are constantly wearing several hats at once. In one sitting, I can be answering emails, twitching my website, editing photos, cruising pinterest for some inspiration, writing a post (all while catching up on some Bravo TV) so I am constantly popping in and out of several applications at once. That is why I love my virtual desktop feature!  It is a lot like having lots of monitors: you can create different work spaces (screens) where you can arrange apps; so if you want one for blog-related apps and another for shopping online, you can do that. My work spaces still share all the same data, files, everything, and you can move apps between them easily. It’s just a convenient way of grouping together related applications and tasks.

Plus, Cortana is always a step ahead. My very own personal assistant, she reminds me when I am late to meet Rachel from Lively Creative Co. for our next shoot or even remind me to ask Stephanie next time I chat with her by phone to ask her about that new makeup line that just came out. At the end of the day, it’s just simply something I cannot get through my week without let alone this past year.

I would love to hear all about your 2015 essentials! Let me know what got you through 2015 in the comments below!
