It’s hard to believe that Josh and I are creeping closer and closer to Baby M’s March 8th due date. Which is why November was crunch time to get everything together for my baby shower this January at the Willistead Manor.  After I finally figured out the guest list, location, food and drinks and theme, it was a mad dash to get the invitations in a timely manner to our guests with the holidays on their way.

I realized quickly that even though it’s a lot of planning and hard work, I should always be seeking out ways to make things as simple and stress free as possible during this crazy time. So, with so many moving parts that go into a special event like this, I knew that using Minted would be the best for the shower invites.

In case you didn’t know, Minted is an online marketplace featuring a huge selection of independent artists and their designs. With Minted, you can really create anything your heart desires. I was able to choose style of invitation, coordinate the matching thank you cards and gift tags, choose the type and shape of paper as well as customize the design for the recipient and return address. We were even able to include a photo and note to on the back of our invites for our guests. The only con? Falling in love with more than one design.

So, after taking the time to pick out our perfect invite for my baby book brunch theme and approving the customizations I made, I received my beautiful invites, thank you cards and gift tags in less than a week and only spent 15 minutes compiling and sealing them for delivery! Talk about convenient!
